The Maviye Sürgün (Blue Cage) series, which is broadcast on Show TV on Monday evenings, was first shown in Latin American countries. The series, which met with the audience in Turkey with the summer period, was shot in 25 episodes.
The shooting of the series, starring Caner Cindoruk, Damla Sönmez and Serkan Altunorak, took place in the Selimiye region of Marmaris for 6 months. In this process, while the players had the opportunity to see the winter conditions of the region, they were also greatly affected by the geography.
Serkan Altunorak also revealed how enjoyable the days he spent in Selimiye were. The actor mentioned that his friends also want to be in this environment.
Answering Ömür Sabuncu’s questions, Serkan Altunorak’s words about his friend Birce Akalay also attracted attention.
Altunorak, who lived in Selimiye for months, received messages of jealousy from his friends when he shared on social media.
“Who was the most jealous?” Answering the question, the actor said:
“Birce (Akalay) wanted to come the most. But there was filming of her series. Since Ayça (Erturan) was also here, we made a series with them. Since then, we’ve all been very close. One thing happened the most, she said, ‘I can’t come, I want too much’.
Reminding that he celebrated his friends’ birthday in Selimiye, Serkan Altunorak said that people who came to Selimiye, where Maviye Sürgün was filmed, did not want to leave here.
According to the actor, one of the biggest contributions of the work will be to the Selimiye region. Stating that there are incredible images and the sea scenes are also very special, Serkan Altunorak stated that the different and beautiful places of the region are revealed with the series.
