The actor, who was born in Istanbul in 1987, later settled in America with his family. Bürsin, after studying acting here, returned to Turkey in 2012 and took part in the TV series Güneşi Bekleren (Waiting for the Sun). The actor, who attracted attention with this series and achieved a breakthrough in his career, finally came to the screen with the series Sen Çal Kapımı, in which he played the leading role with Hande Erçel.
After the TV series “Sen Çal Kapımı” was broadcast in 85 countries, the number of foreign fans gradually increased, and the actor was met with great interest, especially in countries such as Spain and Italy. While the actor stated that he did not have as much enthusiasm as when he started his career in Turkey 10 years ago, he also told that he did not want to shoot a falling overboard scene in the TV series Sen Çal Kapımı and suggested a stuntman to the director for the first time.
Kerem Bürsin, who did not hesitate to say that he thought differently when he first started acting, said, “When I started 10 years ago. My character will fall into the sea in January, I will do it right away. I am willing to do anything. There was such a scene in my last drama again. I said can anyone else do it? You pull it wide. So I don’t know my enthusiasm. I would definitely like to do the jump from building to building. Or I would like to fall from the helicopter,” he said.
Although he loves shooting action scenes, Kerem Bürsin said that he recommended a stuntman to the director in the scene of falling into the sea in the TV series Sen Çal Kapımı, due to the cold water, and said that they could save this scene by shooting from a wide angle and from a distance.
While Kerem Bürsin’s confession made him smile, it was surprising that he did not shy away from brave scenes and did not want to swim in the cold sea.
