Famous actress Yüsra Geyik, who returned to the screen with Kanal D’s ambitious series Taş Kağıt Makas (Stone Paper Scissors), spoke for the first time about her character “Rüya Emirkıran” and her co-star “Umut” in the series.
Yüsra Geyik said, “I see the relationship between the two very superficially. Because Rüya likes Umut as a lawyer and they are in contact. But they are not at a very exciting place yet,” she said.
Taş Kağıt Makas, which brings together master actors in its cast and airs with new episodes every Wednesday evening, continues to make a name for itself with its promotional films and gripping scenes.
Actress Yüsra Geyik, who played the character “Rüya Emirkıran” in the series directed by Yusuf Pirhasan and Volkan Keskin, made special statements to Magazine D News Manager Asiye Acar.
Yüsra Geyik, who said that it was the first time she gave life to such a modern and contemporary woman, made the following statement: “This is exciting for me. Sometimes I wonder if I’m too dressed up because I played shabbier, sportier characters in my previous projects. Each episode of the series is a different excitement. In my opinion, the dynamics and motivation of the project are based on this.
Since most of us in the series are lawyers or have a connection with the law, the excitement of the events gathers in the same place, at the same point. I think Taş Kağıt Makas has a tense excitement and a cool look. “I both love watching it and feel lucky to be in it.”
The beautiful actress, who said that she does not like to play characters that she does not like to watch, said:
“I joined the series in the fourth episode, but; When the character of Rüya was first offered to me, the series was just starting. I really wanted to see the color and texture of the series. After watching it, I started designing Rüya. When I watch television series, I wonder, “Why am I watching this series? ” I ask. Because I don’t like playing characters that I don’t like watching. Rüya is a strong, legal woman who can stand on her own feet. One thing I didn’t know is that she is a lawyer. “I find it nice to discover how she perceives herself as a lawyer, the situations she experiences, what she attaches importance to as a lawyer,” she said.

Stating that she is very curious about the story of each character in Taş Kağıt Makas, Geyik said, “Nothing has been revealed in the story yet. So we didn’t even get to the Taş Kağıt Makas game. Currently, only signals of the game are given. Yes, this game will be played, but the game has not started yet. Therefore, nothing is clear about who will be on which side and how the story will progress. There are a lot of secrets and none of them have been revealed. There are things the audience knows. There are things the characters know. There are things that no one knows. “That’s why I’m very curious about the progress,” she said.
