It has even been officially announced. In this statement, the main character of the new series, which will be revealed from La Casa De Papel, will be Berlin. A part of the new series, which will tell the story of Berlin, will be shot in Istanbul.
It is also known that La Casa De Papel actors have a special interest in Turkish actors. As a matter of fact, a short while ago, the actors of the series went in front of the camera to thank the Turkish audience. Pedro Alonso, the Berlin of La Casa De Papel, Ursula Corbero in the role of Tokyo and Alvaro Morte, who portrayed the Professor, shot a thank you video for Turkey.
There was also a very important detail in the video. Ursula Corbero, who plays Tokyo, said in her speech, “Greetings to the character of Istanbul living among you.” This sentence of Corbero was interpreted as a reference to the episodes to be shot in Turkey and the character of “Istanbul” to be featured in the series.
