Yürek Çıkmazı (The Heart Impass) series started to meet the audience on Tuesday evenings this week. The story of the series, starring Ayça Bingöl, Mesut Akusta, İrem Helvacıoğlu and Alp Navruz, also deeply affected the audience.
Ayça Bingöl, who plays the character of Cennet, who has been silent in the face of her husband’s violence for 38 years, is at the key point of the story.
The character of Cennet, who gave a letter to lawyer Zeynep describing her experiences before she died, endured what she went through so that her children would not be harmed, and she did not receive any support from her surroundings.
Being the voice of many women in this situation and experiencing similar events in real life was also an important reason that attracted the famous actress to the project.
The character of Cennet died in the first episode of the series, and the traces of her painful story were also shown on her body one by one.
Ayça Bingöl also talked about a very special situation in the creation process of the story. The famous actress emphasized that they prepared this process by talking with the screenwriters, and said:
“Obviously, one of the things that impressed me the most was all the consensus we made with our screenwriters, woman-to-woman, that we took that journey together. Because the stone I step on here is to be an intermediary to make the unheard voices heard. Rebirth of her 3 children with her death. Because, after Cennet dies, together with the letter she left and the path that that letter opened, she will show us what she could not do for maybe 38 years, to truly change, transform and give birth to her children. In this sense, of course, she suffered the penalty of being married to a man who stood in the center and whose mental health was not very good during the whole process. I accepted this role to make the voice of a frightened and perplexed woman heard.”
It is a very important step for Ayça Bingöl to come together with the screenwriters and express that they designed the process together.
In the Turkish TV series industry, the interaction between the screenwriter and the actress has always produced important projects, but these are rarely experienced.
