Barış Arduç, who plays the leading role in the Alparslan Great Seljuk TV series, has been playing the leading role in this successful project for 2 seasons. The series, which was broadcast on TRT1 on Monday evenings, is not on the air due to the earthquake and it is not clear when it will meet with the audience. However, Barış Arduç’s heart beats for our citizens who were affected by the two major earthquake disasters in Kahramanmaraş.
In addition to more than 35 thousand people who lost their lives, there are more than 100 thousand injured citizens, while millions of people are trying to survive under difficult conditions in this region where nearly 14 million people are affected.
Barış Arduç stated that what the citizens of the region experience is more important than how he feels. While many people did not talk about their negligence regarding this natural disaster, Barış Arduç did not hesitate to boldly bring it to the agenda.
While the famous actor took part in the donation broadcast jointly organized by many television channels for those affected by the earthquake, he contributed to the healing of the wounds of the people by donating 1 million 100 thousand TL to the AHBAP Association.

“It doesn’t really matter what I’m going through. We need to be concerned with what many of our citizens are suffering from there. We are a nation that manages to be together and do the best we can in such days. This is something to be proud of.
But it would be beneficial for us to draw these indescribable emotions to a rational place. I think how beautiful it is that we, as a country with one heart, are getting under something like this. But what is our lack, what is our negligence in the rest of what happened as a one-hearted country, what more do we have to do? We need to talk about these as a whole country. If we go with this awareness, I think natural disasters may not result in such great suffering.”
