Kızılcık Şerbeti (The Cranberry Sherbet) series helped Show TV take the first place in the ratings, ahead of the Yalı Çapkını (Golden Boy) in AB and ABC1 groups last week.
The most important development in this great success of the series was the interest of the audience in the character of Nursema.
Nursema, who was married under family pressure, was subjected to violence by her husband and managed to escape from the hospital where she was staying with the help of Doğa.
There was a great objection to these scenes of the series on social media, and the Radio and Television Supreme Council punished Show TV and put this situation on its agenda.
It is eagerly awaited what kind of revenge Nursema will take, both from her own family and from the family she went to as a bride.
Ceren Karakoç, who gave life to Nursema, explained the change of the character she played, and actually revealed what will happen in the story of the series in the upcoming episodes.
The actress said: “Nursema has now undergone an awakening. She was hit by her family and loved ones. All the truths that were taught while growing up for years were destroyed in one day. And this actually caused her to break all her prejudices, understand and love all the people she marginalized. In other words, every evil actually turned out to be good for Nursema. We are learning to be human and stay, I think this path has started for Nursema in this life too…”
Stating that she received positive feedback from her environment and the audience during this period, the actress also experienced a leap in her career.
Ceren Karakoç, explaining that she received good feedback from the people around her, explained her feelings as follows:
“Actually, I did not think that so many viewers would embrace it and internalize Nursema. But our screenwriter worked so well and was so real that I just had to play and live with pleasure. I think that passed too much to the audience. So I am happy as an actor…”
