The Kuş Uçuşu (Bird Flight) series, shot for Netflix, started to be shown on June 3 and received great acclaim. Birce Akalay, İbrahim Çelikkol and Miray Daner are starring in the Birce Akalay series, which is the latest domestic production of the platform. While all three actors were appreciated with their performances, they were also very successful in the characters they played.
In the series “Kuş Uçuşu”, which has been on the agenda for days, the tough struggle of two women of the X and Z generation, up to physical violence, is the subject. Birce Akalay became the prominent name of the series with her role as experienced presenter-journalist Lale Kıran, while Miray Daner surprised her fans with a very surprising character.
Miray Daner plays a young generation journalist named Aslı. However, as someone who is extremely ambitious and obsessed with Lale Kıran and her place since childhood, she gives life to a reckless character that will crush anyone who comes in her way.
The scene where the two women fight to death was an extremely interesting, harsh and brutal scene for the audience. At the same time, the characters of the two actresses were likened to the struggles that are talked about and that are experienced in many workplaces or television channels in today’s world.
Miray Daner and Birce Akalay answered the questions from the audience about the series, which was shot last year, for Onedio. Two successful actresses also talked about their experiences in the Kuş Uçuşu series for the first time.
The actresses gave interesting answers to a question about what happened behind the camera about the fight scene, which affected many viewers in the series. “We did a fight choreography for that scene a bit together. But rather than that, we gave great importance to the feeling of the scene. When I first read it, I was very excited for that scene, I was very enthusiastic. I think it was a difficult time for me.”
Birce Akalay also stated that she enjoyed that scene very much and said, “We had to shoot that scene in two parts somehow. Because of the light reasons and we have established the feeling so well that we continued from where we left off,” she said.
Birce Akalay, who stated that she thought they were very supportive of each other for this scene, used the phrase “It was exactly like a tennis match” for the scene.
While Miray Daner said that she enjoyed the scene very much, Birce Akalay emphasized that in the fight scene between Lale and Aslı in the TV series, a monster emerged from inside of both women, and drew attention to the scene for those who did not watch.
