The duo, who gave an interview to the podcast program titled Kaldığın Yerden, which was broadcast on Spotify recently, explained for the first time that they had fun and had some interesting moments, especially in the Cappadocia scenes of the movie. What happened in the background of the balloon scene, which is the most magical and funny scene of the movie, made the audience laugh.
The viewers of the movie talk a lot on social media about the funny scene where Demet Özdemir played Aslı and Kerem, played by Şükrü Özyıldız, where they thought they were going to have a romantic moment, but was screaming.
Aslı’s screams in the balloon, which Kerem was put on to surprise her with her eyes closed due to her fear of heights, burst into laughter. However, behind the camera, Demet Özdemir said that she was really scared in that scene and that they were sober and fainted that she was really shouting.
Demet Özdemir, who said “I can’t stand it”, said in the interview that she was holding back and that she would tell these interesting stories for the first time. They shared those moments with Şükrü Özyıldız, who said, “We have an incredible story about the balloon scene.”
“I tried so hard not to tell myself in other places. It is not easy to work in the heat of July, but it is true that we had a lot of fun despite that, and we really laughed a lot. Demet Özdemir said, “There were moments when we lost ourselves mostly in the Cappadocia stages,” and emphasized that she got on the balloon for the first time in her life and was very afraid. She added that the person who had fun on that stage was Şükrü Özyıldız. Demet Özdemir told for the first time that they had 30-40 minutes to finish the stage, that they were working to make everything right, and that they had an interesting event during this time.
Demet Özdemir, explaining that her close friend and Stylist Rutkay Öziş wore a very expensive watch before the stage, said that she saw the watch jump out of her arm and fall down during the shouting on the stage. Özdemir said with laughter that he noticed the situation while the camera was working and playing, but told her partner Şükrü Özyıldız somehow without disturbing the scene.
Demet Özdemir states that after the scene ended, they found the watch as a result of long searches and that even though it fell from such a height, there was not even a scratch on the watch, and she describes those moments as follows…
“Our stylist, also my very close friend, Rutkay Öziş gave me a beautiful expensive watch to wear on stage. She said put it on but I said are you sure because of my struggles and fear of heights, she said relax. While our relatives withdrew, our couples were withdrawing, while I was shouting “Let me go,” I saw the clock come off my wrist and go around behind Şükrü and fall down. Download me, I’ll jump, I say, but I looked where the clock was going, hanging down. I’m playing and I say to Şükrü “the time has passed”. Somehow we changed the lines. During the game, we determined the coordinates without breaking the game. We did a search and rescue operation, our set manager found it.
I locked myself in the trailer and cried. It was very bad acting and it was 8,5 in the morning. There wasn’t a single scratch. Rutkay gave me nothing after that.”
