Demet Özdemir has become one of the important names in Disney Plus’s project to turn Turkey from its production base. In this process, which started with Engin Akyürek’s TV series Kaçış (Escape), the TV series Dünyayla Benim Aramda (Between the World and Me), starring Demet Özdemir, Buğra Gülsoy and Hafsanur Sancaktutan, was also an important project.
The series has been filmed and millions of viewers are eagerly awaiting its release for the second domestic project of Disney Plus. The famous actress, who will appear in front of her fans again with her romantic comedy project, experienced one of the biggest surprises of her life on the set of this series.
Demet Özdemir explained the incident in the program of İbrahim Selim on Fox TV, with whom he shared the same set in the series. Özdemir experienced the biggest shock of her life when she saw a 11-year-old boy whom she met on the set years ago in her first TV series, and became a supporting actress on the set of the TV series Dünyayla Benim Aramda years later.
The actress also talked about her experiences in İbrahim Selim’s program and expressed how emotional she was: “I experienced something very new. We shot a series together. It was a very emotional moment for me. I met a girl at one of my first jobs. She was 11 years old then. She was coming to the set, sshe had prepared notebooks for me.
Years passed, 9 years passed. She came on that set as a supporting actress, I couldn’t remember her name, but I recognized her as soon as I saw her. It was an incredible moment for me. She’s so grown up, I don’t know anything about her life, I don’t know her. But I felt like I knew too much. It is something very different.”
Demet Özdemir added that she has been on the sets for 10 years.
