Erdal Özyağcılar, who played the leading role with the character of Köfteci Süleyman in the Balkan Ninnisi (Balkan Lullaby) series, had the pleasure of being in Macedonia again after 13 years. The Balkan Ninnisi, which started on TRT1 screens in the summer, received good ratings when it was first broadcast. However, Balkan Ninnisi, which had difficulties in the face of the winter season series, made a final with the 25th episode after the audience’s interest decreased.
Erdal Özyağcılar said the following about the Macedonian days: “I was in the 25-episode Balkan Ninnisi series. I am a Macedonian lover. 13 years ago, we shot a series of Elveda Rumeli (Farewell Rumelia). I experienced the ethnic culture of the Macedonian people and the love and respect in their common life. I love the Balkan geography very much.”
Erdal Özyağcılar, who was in Macedonia for 3 years for the shooting of the series “Elveda Rumeli” years ago, had the opportunity to be in this country for 6 months for the Balkan Ninnisi this time.
Reminding that 2022 was a good year for him and he took part in many projects, the master actor also took part in two movies named Müstakbel Damat and Güven Bana.
Erdal Özyağcılar will continue to be on the sets in 2023. The actor said, “From now on, we have new projects. Hopefully they will be too. “There are good projects,” he said.
Talking about the meaning of being an actor for him, Özyağcılar said that he is deeply attached to his profession. Expressing that he tells people to people and that he is doing his best, Özyağcılar stated that he expects happiness in 2023 as well.
