In an interview with Cumhuriyet newspaper, Şerif Erol stated that the character of Enver was written by screenwriter Hande Altaylı with a “fairy-tale goodness”, and cannot describe himself as a good person like Enver.
Şerif Erol said, “The character of Enver was written as a very good character by Hande Altaylı. It was written in a fairy-tale manner, I think, I am not a bad man, but I am not as good a man as Enver, he is a very good man.”
Şerif Erol thinks that good people are needed in TV series and argues that an important message is given to the society in this way.
Şerif Erol, who also thinks that society needs to see good people in TV series, emphasized the point the society has reached with these words: “We encounter so much evil, unpleasantness, repulsiveness and antipathy; So many of our arms and wings are broken, our faces are bent to the ground, that this fairy tale goodness gave people something they missed so much. That’s why this character was so loved.”
