The Fox TV series Son Yaz ends this week. The series, which started its second season with great hopes, bids farewell to the screens as a result of the decrease in ratings. Fans from all over the world are trying diligently to keep their series from coming to an end.

Upon the finale decision of Son Yaz, which received a lot of reaction, the fans of the series came together and prepared a video. The voice-over, which starts with Turkish in the video, continues by being read in different languages. The video, addressed to the production company of the series, says:

“Dear O3 Media officials, Son Yaz entered our lives on January 1, 2021, and took a place in our hearts as well as reserved a place for us in the universe it created. How much closer could a universe touch hearts? We loved the dream described by Son Yaz. We see the light in the story. We ask you to give us one last chance and take care of our story. Please hear our voice. Don’t let the Son Yaz be left half finished.”

The text is then read in different languages. In addition to the scenes from the series, data such as previous ratings of the series and social media sharing figures are shared in the video. About 18 hours after the video was shared, it reached over 70,000 views.

In the meantime, the reactions to the Fox TV management, which made a large number of TV series for two seasons and decided to take them off the air when the ratings fell, are increasing. Both the producer and the channel management were criticized. Afterwards, a signature campaign was organized via change.org.

However, in the statement made by the production company of the series, O3 Medya, it was clearly announced that the Son Yaz series would not continue. The statement said:

“We regret that we have ended our Son Yaz story, as it unfortunately did not find a response in the rating system we are in.

Thank you to you and our entire team for making the Son Yaz universe real. The key is still under the flower pot…”
