It is known that Turkish series have spread to six continents and broadcast in hundreds of different countries. On the other hand, adaptations of Turkish TV series are taking the world by storm. Finally, the TV series Fatmagül’ün Suçu Ne and Anne were adapted in Spain.
When the TV series Fatmagül’ün Suçu Ne, which came to the screen in 2010, was broadcast in Turkey, it was a big event and created controversy. In the series, in which Beren Saat and Engin Akyürek shared the lead roles, names such as Buğra Gülsoy, Sumru Yavrucuk, Engin Öztürk, Fırat Çelik also took part.
Adapted from the famous writer Vedat Türkali’s novel of the same name, Fatmagül’s Suçu Ne tells the story of Fatmagül, who was raped by four men and forced to marry one of the rapists, and Kerim, who was forced to marry her.
Fatmagül’s Suçu Ne aired for two seasons in Turkey. The series, which created an event with each episode, also brought great discussions. Ten years after its conclusion, Fatmagül’s Suçu Ne is being re-adapted in Spain. The version of the series to be broadcast on Antenna 3 channel will be called Alba.
Another Turkish TV series that will air a version on Spanish TV channel Antenna 3 is Anne. The series, which was adapted into Turkish in the Japanese series Mother, came to the screen in 2016. Cansu Dere, Gonca Vuslateri, Berkay Ateş, Vahide Perçin and Beren Gökyıldız starred in the series shot by Med Yapım.
The series tells the story of a little girl who is abused by her hostess mother and her lover, and a woman who tries to adopt her. The series, which draws attention with its strong acting and striking story, broke viewership records in Turkey. Anne was also adapted into Spanish under the name Heridas. Both series and Kardeşlerim will be screened on Spanish TV channel Antenna 3 in 2022.
