The series, which tells the period of Sultan Melikşah in the Great Seljuk State, which TRT1 brought to the screen with a big production last season, was very popular. The series, which affected a large audience with the name of Uyanış Büyük Selçuklu and won first place in the ratings, was very successful.
Major changes were made for the new series, which is the continuation of this project and tells about the period of Sultan Melikşah’s father, Sultan Alparslan. After important innovations in terms of both the plateau and the cast, the Alparslan Büyük Selçuklu series was broadcast on the TRT1 screen and continues to achieve great success.
There is also a common criticism of both series. There is also a high share of justification in this criticism made over the female lead roles. Hatice Şendil gave life to the character of Terken Hatun in the TV series Uyanış Büyük Selçuklu.
