The impressive and cinematographic visual effects of Filinta series were made by Digiflame from the first episode. Digiflame team’s work on Filinta started after the script writing. Together with the director and production team, what could be done using both the decor and Visual Effects (VFX) was designed to revive the old Istanbul. While the decors of the Pera area were being built, digital copies of these decors were prepared by Digiflame. Digital copies of some actors, extras, phaetons and horses used in the set were prepared and the scenes were enriched with digital elements. Inside the plateau where this magnificent world of Filinta was created, a harbor decor was set up. And this decor was transformed into the old Karaköy harbor using VFX facilities. For the port scenes, visual effects such as 3D sea, commercial ships of various sizes suitable for the period and the old Istanbul skyline, decor and building completion for the series, human reproductions, building explosions were prepared. All filming took place under the supervision of the Digiflame team.
The preparation of the visual effects of the series was carried out with a team of 40 people in a weekly period after the shooting and editing phase. Turkey’s most populous Digifl up with visual effects team has produced visual effects for more than 3,000 pieces of Carbs.
