Disney Plus, which will start broadcasting in Turkey soon, is getting ready to hit the Turkish audience like a bomb this summer. The digital platform, which has signed with many famous names, is making very ambitious productions.
One of the productions that will meet with the audience in the summer will be the new Disney Plus series called Dünyayla Benim Aramda (meaning: Between the World and Me) by MF Production. The two female leads to be played by Demet Özdemir and Hafsanur Sancaktutan and the first male lead to be played by Buğra Gülsoy had already been announced.
Everyone was eagerly awaiting who would come next to this trio. According to the latest news, it was learned that Metin Akdülger was agreed for the second male lead. The successful actor, who made his debut with Medcezir, which was broadcast in 2013-2015, also made a name for himself with his performance in the Netflix series Club.
The project, which will come to the fore with its romantic comedy story, was an indicator of how much Disney Plus attaches to domestic productions and that it will sign many domestic productions in the future.
Pınar Bulut will write the script for the series, directed by Hülya Gezer. In the series, there will also be important names such as Zerrin Tekindor, İbrahim Selim and Melisa Döngel. Metin Akdülger will give life to the character of Kenan, who will join the story later in the series.
