Berker Güven, who gave life to the character of ‘Somer’, who married a woman he did not love because of his mother’s force, in Kanal D’s record-breaking series Üç Kız Kardeş (Three Sisters), made candid statements about his perspective on relationships in an interview with Hakan Gence from the Hürriyet Newspaper.
Berker Güven, Hakan Gence’s “What is your view on the concept of cheating?” He gave the following answer to the question: “I went through some things during my high school and university days. I was not sensitive to the relationship, I did not know how to live a relationship. But over time, I learned what loyalty is, how valuable it is.”
Berker Güven, who gave life to the character of ‘Somer’, who married a woman he did not love for his own interests and was also his lover, in the TV series Üç Kız Kardeş, said:
“I am not with someone for my own benefit; I never do marriage. I’m loyal when I’m in a relationship. I’m not speaking for myself, but a person can like two people, but not be in love. He can be influenced by a human and aesthetic place and maintain a relationship, but he does not experience anything emotional.”
Stating that he would prefer a passionate innocence in his relationship in real life, Berker Güven said, “I think there is a passionate field in innocence as well. We sometimes see this between Türkan (Özgü Kaya) and Somer. Getting close, withdrawing themselves… It means that people can be ‘passed on’ through an innocent character” he said.
The talented actor explained the difference among the players of his generation in the sector with the following words; “The fact that I have come equipped with myself since I was 8 years old. I don’t try very hard to do my job very well. I wasn’t discovered or came from modeling. I’ve been acting all my life. For me, acting comes first, then the concerns of television and drama math.”
