Famous actress Birce Akalay set very big goals for her new series Bir Derdim Var (I Have a Problem) and planned to achieve very good results. However, this did not happen. Giving a helping hand to traumatized children was one of the most important missions of this series for the actress, who stars alongside Mert Fırat.
Unfortunately, the TV series project called Bir Derdim Var remains a 6-episode story. Because Kanal D no longer had any desire to continue the series due to the low ratings… Birce Akalay was very disappointed because the desired level of ratings could not be achieved.
However, the series also serves as a source of pride for the famous actor. Birce Akalay, who has undertaken the important mission of addressing the traumas of young people by bringing such an issue to the agenda, has taken a very meaningful step in terms of social responsibility.
Although the series did not receive a response in terms of ratings, the impact it created on social media and the positive comments made about the series pleased the famous actor.
Birce Akalay drew attention to this situation in her farewell message shared on her social media account and wrote:
“From the first day we set out on our TV series, Bir Derdim Var, I was excited to be able to help the loneliness of the considerable number of traumatized children in our country and the darkness that families are stranded in.
Unfortunately, our work could not find a response in the rating system that guides national television and our industry. But public opinion is always the most valuable. All the reactions, comments and applause we received have been the greatest reward and source of motivation, and do not doubt it until the last day.
In this sense, I would like to thank all our friends and fans who shared our excitement from the first day and supported us as much as they could. Bir Derdim Var was one of the greatest joys of my life. “I wish it could have lasted longer.”
