Yıldıray Şahinler, one of the popular actors of Show TV’s new series “Arak”, produced by Most Production and produced by Murat Can Oğuz, who is counting the days to meet the audience, made interesting statements about the project.
Yıldıray Şahinler made a Robin Hood comparison for the story of the series and said; “The story is like a road story. A long journey that a family goes through, the changes, drifts, ruptures of each of them, their efforts to stay together during that journey… On the other hand, it is a modern Robin Hood story. There is an action pattern that will make us stop and think about the act of ‘stealing’. Behind these, it is a story of reckoning that unfolds layer by layer, full of secrets that are pregnant with surprises.”
Talking about the character he plays, Halim, the famous actor will appear before his fans as someone who is the mentor of his family.
The famous actor, who obviously would suit this role very well, said, “The Halim character I play is the uncle of Kara, Yosun and Sedat. In a way, he is the most well-rounded and experienced member of the family. A mentor who helps Kara restrain his crazy side, someone who carries the family’s secrets like a burden; On the other hand, he is a middle-aged boy who has not yet grown up in the safe shadow of his mother, Sema.”
Stating that they went through a meticulous preliminary preparation process, the actor summarized the most attractive aspects of the project as follows; “What first attracted me was both the multi-layered weave of the story and the depth and surprising structure of the characters, which are not just good and bad. Then the quality of the staff was the determining factor in my decision.”
