Murat Yıldırım, one of the most popular actors of the screen world, continues to appear on Show TV every Friday with his Aziz series. The talented actor makes a name for himself with every production he takes part in. The actor, appreciated by his fans for his stability in both his acting and private life, was deemed worthy of a special award.
The 5th International Gold Quality Awards, where the best names from different sectors in Turkey were determined, found their owners. The awards were given to their owners at a ceremony held at Limak Eurasia Luxury Hotel. Murat Yıldırım was awarded the Best Actor of the Year award at the night.
In his speech at the award ceremony, Murat Yıldırım referred to Aziz’s success and said: “Our job is a bit of a marathon. Every week you have to play new chapter and peak. First we need to be satisfied. Our friends work very carefully. We’re working a little hard, but it’s worth it. It was the story that captivated me. I listened to the story first. The script came two months later.”
The talented actor still continues to meet the audience on Show TV screens with the Aziz series. The show is doing very well in the ratings. Aziz series managed to finish first in AB group this week with its sixth episode. Completing the day in second place on ABC1, Aziz placed fourth in the all-person category.
Murat Yıldırım’s wife İman Elbani was also included in the Aziz series. While the beautiful Moroccan-born actress was in front of the camera for the first time in Turkey with her husband for the Aziz series, it was already a matter of great curiosity in which role she would be on the screen. While the first frames shared from the set increased the expectation, they received admirable comments on social media.
Murat Yıldırm also said that he helped his wife İman Elbani, who had her first acting experience, to improve herself. Yıldırım said, “It was difficult for her. She has to play in a language that is not her mother tongue in a short time… I played German and English before, but I had difficulties. I tried to be helpful. It was nice. She got involved in the project at the turning point of the story.”
