Kuzgun is a Turkish drama television series signed by Ay Yapım, directed by Bahadır İnce and written by Burcu Görgün Toptaş and Özlem Yılmaz. The Kuzgun series, which aired a total of 21 episodes, was sold to 34 countries.

The Kuzgun series, in which important names such as Barış Arduç, Burcu Biricik, Onur Saylak, Hatice Aslan, Ahsen Eroğlu took part, remained on the screen for 2 seasons. However, after the ratings of the series were not good, the final was made with the decision taken at the beginning of the second season. Although the Kuzgun series aroused great interest in the period when it was broadcast with its subject and actors, the screen life was short. Kuzgun, who is about the revenge of a child who had to leave his family, made an early final due to being behind in the rating table.

STORY:

Yusuf and Rıfat are two senior cops and very old friends. They organize a major operation against the drug lord Şeref Dağıstanlı. In order to get rid of Şeref, he offers Yusuf and Rıfat a large amount of bribes as well as concessions. Yusuf strongly rejects this offer. Rıfat, on the other hand, does not agree with Yusuf, but does not say it. A short time after the operation, Yusuf was arrested with a plot set against him and he was banned from the profession. The one who ambushed him is Rıfat, whom he calls his dear friend. With Yusuf’s entry into prison, his wife Meryem and their three children face the most painful and tragic test of their lives. Kuzgun will pay the biggest price of this exam.

The character of Kuzgun, who gave his name to the series, loses his father at a young age and is abducted from his family while experiencing the pain of this. Kuzgun has to continue his life in Cappadocia under the name Akça for years. The years of his youth on the streets reinforce Kuzgun’s ambition for revenge. During the 20 years he lived alone and away from his family, Kuzgun tries to make a living by working as a bodyguard.

Returning to Istanbul to take his revenge at the end of 20 years, Kuzgun encounters Dila, with whom he spent his childhood. Dila, whose mother passed away in her separate years, goes to London after this heavy process. After completing his education there, she returns to Turkey and starts her profession as a lawyer. However, when she meets Kuzgun again, everything she knows and accepts as true changes. The love between them is as passionate as it is impossible.

PLACES:

The first two weeks of the series, whose story takes place in Istanbul, were shot in the Cappadocia region, one of Turkey’s most popular tourist destinations. Although the Cappadocia region of Nevşehir impresses the audience with its glamorous beauty, the set environment was moved to Istanbul with the arrival of Kuzgun (Barış Anduç) to take revenge. Filming took place in the Hair Museum in Avanos in the episodes that took place in Nevşehir.
