Zeugma’s mysterious ‘Gypsy Girl’ story; In the Golden Cage, it was reincarnated in the love of Zülüf (Almila Ada) and Kenan (Mehmet Ali Nuroğlu). Although Zülüf and Kenan’s fairy-tale love started the screen adventure quickly, it could not achieve the desired rating. The series made the final decision due to its falling ratings after 13 episodes of performance. Precisely in those days so common in Turkey in the middle of March of 2019 was stopped shooting because of an outbreak of coronavirus, Golden Cage series also stayed away from the screen for a long time. STORY:
Fifteen years ago, Bedir Kavvi and Ahmet Cibranoğlu were two close friends. After Ahmet Cibranoğlu is killed, Bedir Kavvi is charged with the murder of his close friend and sent to prison. After fifteen years, Badir Kavvi is released from prison. Hearing that Badir Kavvi got out of prison in the Cibranoğlu mansion, Ökkeş turns mad. After the incident that happened fifteen years ago, Jibran’s son Kenan, who studied in Istanbul, returns to Gaziantep after the news of his father’s death and continues his life as the head of the house. While Kenan strives to maintain and grow his family’s business, he is also obliged to restrain his tramp brother Ökkeş.
Zülüf, the beautiful daughter of the Kavvi family, stood on her own feet with her mother since her father had been in prison for fifteen years and at the same time took care of her younger brother Müslüm. The joy of Zülüf, who will be delighted when she finds out that her father is released from prison after years, will come to an end when she learns that her brother Müslüm had escaped with Nefise, the daughter of Jibran.
Zülüf, the caravan does not fly, awaits death in a blind well on the peaks of the mountains. She is seven floors below the ground like a gypsy girl. Zülüf is saved by a young man from this well where she was thrown. When she finds out who Kenan, who confronts her like a miracle, she experiences the shock of his life.
Waiting by the well, Kenan sees Zülüf, who is legendary with her beauty, under the redness of the evening sun. Kenan’s knees are tied up and the earth and sky turn upside down.
