Kanal D’s new series, Üç Kız Kardeş, whose promotions have started to spin on the screen, has a content that will take the audience away with its story. Adapted from the novel of the same name by writer İclal Aydın, the series tells the life story of three sisters who grew up in a happy family. For the first time, İclal Aydın talked about the real journey of Üç Kız Kardeş, which is expected to make up for the lack of naive, loving, embracing and compassionate serials on the screen.
İclal Aydın came to the screen for the last time in 2018 with the TV series Ege’nin Hamsisi. She was away from the sets for a long time. The actress continued her writing career with the novel Üç Kız Kardeş. In fact, İclal Aydın states that she did not first construct the story as a book.
Üç Kız Kardeş, which is now eagerly awaited, first came to the fore in the form of a series of stories, although it was adapted from İclal Aydın’s novel. İclal Aydın started to write as a series story, but gave up and turned it into a novel. In fact, Aydın is quite happy with this move. Being a novel first and then turning it into a serial will also serve to make the story more permanent.
İclal Aydın expresses her satisfaction with this dilemma and the decision she made afterwards with the following words:
“I first conceived Üç Kız Kardeş as a television series, then changed my mind and turned it into a book. Good thing I did. There is a big, new, rough language that has dominated everyday life in recent years. And that language makes me very unhappy. I started to write this novel with the grief of the great loss of value I felt when I could not find a place for myself and could not defend my beliefs. There is no new story under the sky, but there is a language that is missed a lot. I was saying that I cannot be a person who misses human warmth, belonging, kindness and similar concepts and is affected by their absence. I was right. I wasn’t the only one. It turns out we were a lot.”
The actress, who was very happy after the proposal of Süreç Film to turn her novel into a TV series, expresses this situation with the words “Tears of happiness are pouring out of my eyes”. İclal Aydın, who is very excited for the series that is being shot in Ayvalık, also expresses that he is happy that the series was shot here.
Ayvalık Cunda is a special place for her. Explaining that she started each of her novels in the same hotel in Cunda, İclal Aydın said, “Cunda loves me, but I love it more. Tears of happiness are pouring out of my eyes while watching the scenes that were shot now. I get the reward for the things I once said no to when those dreams that I protect according to my own strength and opinion come true. I hope it will be a long-lasting and happy work.”
