Gülçin Santırcıoğlu, who was born in Izmir in 1977, spent the last season with the character of İfakat Korhan in the TV series “Yalı Çakını” (Golden Boy). The actress, who became one of the most talked about names throughout the season with this role, which won the great appreciation of her fans, has made a strong career for herself with the influential TV series she has appeared in.
Gülçin Santırcıoğlu, who said that even a single act of her experienced co-stars on the sets taught her a lot despite studying at the conservatory, also drew attention by saying, “No one has any effort on me.”
Despite being a graduate of Dokuz Eylül University Performing Arts and Operan Singing Department, the famous actress stated that her experience on the sets was much greater than that of school.

“I am a person who likes to research and be self-sufficient. I played with very nice names. I am very lucky. One of their actions was worth 5 years of the conservatory. I don’t mean that you don’t go to school. Mine came at a difficult time. Conservatory means a relationship between master and apprentice. How many masters remained in the schools is also a matter of debate.”
Gülçin Santırcıoğlu, who stated that there are too many people who do not fill her place, created a controversy by saying that she did not work with very good instructors while she was studying at the conservatory, and also said that nothing is as it seems from the outside.
The famous actress said, “When I was at school, a person 3-4 years older than me was my teacher. I did not come across the period when Melih Cevdet Anday was a teacher. So it is not what it seems from the outside. But I also have a lot of friends who get a good education at school and come out ready. This is a very individual thing.”
