Kanal D’s popular TV series, Yargı, starring Kaan Urgancıoğlu and Pınar Deniz, came to the screen with its 10th episode this week. The series has managed to become a popular production of Sunday evenings from the first episode.
The story written by the screenwriter Sema Ergenekon, based on her observations in the courthouse corridors for two years, played a major role in this success, as well as the acting.
The events flow in such an interesting way in the series that after everything is resolved quickly, the audience asks, “What can happen next?” it feels like it. However, every week, another opposite corner comes for the audience.
Ceylin and Ilgaz, who managed to arrest Engin somehow, also helped Pars prosecutor and Eren the commissioner. However, Engin made an unexpected attack with the courage of being a lawyer!
A murderer and a very cunning man with clever plans emerged from under his smiling, calm, loving appearance. Engin, who even Yekta describes as a “monster”, included his lawyer aunt Seda in his plans inside.
Seda, played by Nergis Öztürk, came to the series as Laçin’s sister and Engin’s aunt. Öztürk’s successful acting will be discussed more in the following episodes.
In addition to the successful performance of the leading roles, there is another young name in the series who almost steals a role from other actors! Onur Durmaz!
He plays Engin’s character with great success. In fact, the script began to focus on him. Before it was revealed that he was İnci’s murderer, he was someone who didn’t even attract attention. However, with Onur Durmaz’s great acting, the character of Engin becomes one of the most remarkable names in the series.
As the person who pulls out the war axes and collects the vulnerabilities of everyone, including Ceylin, Ilgaz, Pars, Çınar, Eren and even his father Yekta, with the logic of “If I burn, I will burn everyone” despite being a murderer, he will make big reverse corners in the upcoming episodes!
In fact, as a first step, he even revealed a sound recording that would open up Ceylin and Ilgaz! His aunt Seda is angry with the family for some reason and seeks revenge. Knowing that his nephew is the murderer, he decided to support Engin just for his own revenge.

Seda and Engin’s anger will burn Ceylin-Ilgaz and the others very badly! Meanwhile, Onur Duymaz, who plays the character of Engin, after sacrificing his curly hair for the series, moves into the center like the main protagonist of the story. He performs so successfully that he started stealing roles from almost everyone in the Yargı series!
We will probably talk more about Engin’s character and Onur Duymaz in the coming days. Onur Durmaz, born in 1990, is originally from Kocaeli. Durmaz is a graduate of the Vienna Conservatory and has a theater background. He has also worked as a casting director and assistant director.
