The first episode of Üç Kız Kardeş, adapted from İclal Aydın’s novel of the same name, came to the screen last night. The series, which was eagerly awaited by the audience, made a good start in the ratings. The series was generally liked, but there were also interesting criticisms.
The new series of Kanal D, produced by Process Film and produced by Ali Gündoğdu and İnci Gündoğdu, has a strong story. In addition to İclal Aydın and Reha Özcan, young actors such as Berker Güven, Özgü Kaya, Almila Ada and Melisa Berberoğlu take part in the series.
In the first episode of the series, Türkan, the eldest of Üç Kız Kardeş, married Somer, the son of the richest family in the town they live in. Although everything seemed rosy at first, the bitter truth emerged soon after the wedding. In fact, Somer, who loves someone else and wants to marry her, left Türkan right after the wedding.
The series attracted the attention of the audience due to its violence and drama. Although it was loved, very interesting comments were made about Üç Kız Kardeş. One of these comments belonged to Milliyet newspaper television critic Sina Koloğlu. Koloğlu shared on his Twitter account, “There are all kinds of drama and intrigue. To be said for Üç Kız Kardeş; ‘drama and intrigue are handled with care’. I think that it will have a response especially in the total audience. I guess it will be liked in Latin America and Spain as well.”
Another critic, Murat Tolga Şen, said that Üç Kız Kardeş is Turkey’s new soap opera, and said, “The new soap operas have soap opera DNA. These series feature impossible romances, powerful intrigues, and overdose drama. The new work of this trend, Üç Kız Kardeş series, looks like it was shot for the Latin market, not for the Turkish audience.” said.
Üç Kız Kardeş, which tells the ties of family and fraternity and won the audience’s appreciation with its sincere and warm family story, is on Kanal D with its new episodes every Tuesday.
