TRT 1’s new series Kara Ağaç Destanı (The Black Tree Epic) is getting ready to hit the screens with its first episode on Friday, February 23. The ‘Kara Ağaç Destanı’, which started in the 1950s and continued in the 1970s, tells the story of goodness and evil, the world of existence and the reality of absence side by side in the ancient lands of Anatolia.

Starring Olgun Şimşek, Emre Kıvılcım, Meltem Akçöl, Özlem Conker, Hakan Boyav, Merih Öztürk, the series is produced by Hasan Karul, and Ufuk Hakan Eren is in the director’s chair.

The wind always blows in the opposite direction in Kara Ağaç

In the 1950s, Harranlı Celal Ağa (Olgun Şimşek), who enlarged his land by forcibly taking the land from all the big and small landowners in Kara Ağaç Plain, swore revenge on his son Ömer (Emre Kıvılcım), who, unlike his father, was loved by everyone and famous for his justice, and the village. The coming foreign Sultan (Meltem Akçöl) will rewrite the fate of Kara Ağaç.

As each knot is solved, a different door will open in the Kara Ağaç, which collects the secrets of the past. In the Kara Ağaç Destanı, every love will be blown away in the dry lands and harsh winds.

Kara Ağaç Destanı series will be on TRT 1 with its first episode on Friday, February 23 at 20.00.
