The platform, which has signed names such as Can Yaman, Demet Özdemir, Hande Erçel, Halit Ergenç, Aras Bulut İynemli, Engin Akyürek, is about to make a deal with the much-loved actor who has not been on the screen for a long time.
According to the news of journalist Birsen Altuntaş, Disney Plus is about to sign a new TV series deal with Turkey’s most popular actor Kenan İmirzalıoğlu. The name of the series to be produced by OGM Pictures will be Gri (meaning: gray).
There is no detailed information about the new series yet. However, it was learned that the screenwriter will be Banu Kiremitçi Bozkurt, who has signed very successful TV series such as Bizim Hikaye, Kızım and Kırmızı Oda. Taylan Brothers, who is the director of the unforgettable series Muhteşem Yüzyıl, will be the director.
Kenan İmirzalıoğlu will play under his own name in the new series. It is stated that the agreement with Kenan İmirzalıoğlu has not been made yet, but the successful actor is looking forward to the offer.
Kenan İmirzalıoğlu’s last TV series on a national channel was Mehmed Bir Cihan Fatihi, shot in 2018. The talented actor played Mehmed II in the series. Can Yaman, another actor agreed with Disney Plus, will soon come to Turkey for his new series. It was learned that the shooting of the series signed by Ay Yapım is planned to start in April. Uluç Bayraktar is the director of the series and Kerem Deren is the scriptwriter. It is stated that the shooting will take four months.
