It has been talked about for a long time that Kral Kaybederse (If the King Loses) series, which will be adapted from the book of the same name by psychiatrist and writer Gülseren Budayıcıoğlu, will be shot for Star TV.
The series, which is said to be starring Kıvanç Tatlıtuğ, came to the fore again with the decision of the actor to give up taking part in the series.
After the Masumlar Apartmanı (Innocent Apartments) and Camdaki Kız (The Girl in the Glass), which were written by Gülseren Budayıcıoğlu, preparations were started for the serial adaptation of his work, Kral Kaybederse. It has been known for a while that Kıvanç Tatlıtuğ will be in the lead roles. An unexpected attack came from the successful actor.
Kıvanç Tatlıtuğ, who recently met with the audience on Netflix, a digital platform with the Yakamoz S-245 project, recently starred in the movie Last Call Istanbul, in which he starred with Beren Saat, which was also shot for Netflix.
The news that Kıvanç Tatlıtuğ, whose name was mentioned for the lead role of the TV series “Kral Kaybederse”, which is expected to be screened on Star TV, was withdrawn from the project with a sudden decision, fell like a bombshell on the magazine’s agenda.
While no statement was made on the subject from the actor’s front, many comments were made by his fans on social media. Some of his fans stated that this decision was right for the actor and said, “We are glad, Kıvanç deserves better projects!” they commented on.
Kıvanç Tatlıtuğ last appeared on the screen in 2018 with the TV series Çarpışma (Clash), which was broadcast on Show TV. However, the series shot by Ay Yapım ended in the 24th episode. After this series, Kıvanç Tatlıtuğ did not take part in the project, which was broadcast on a channel on television screens, except for the projects broadcast on digital platforms.
