Masum (Innocent) is a Turkish internet series written by Berkun Oya and directed by Seren Yüce. The series, adapted from the play Bayrak written by Berkun Oya, was broadcast on Blu TV. After the final of the series consisting of 8 episodes, it came to the screens on Channel D on August 17, 2017.

Masum, which is Turkey’s first internet series, mystery and drama reflects on the screen simultaneously. The tension-filled air of the series and the way its plot was handled made it one of the most successful in its genre. Broadcasted on BluTV, Masum blends detective and drama, telling an extraordinary story around a Turkish family that looks ordinary at first glance. Masum, which attracted great attention when it was first published on the digital platform, was later broadcast on Kanal D.
STORY:
Masum is a mystery series telling about the tragedy of Commissioner Cevdet’s family. The plot of the series takes shape when a police officer returns to his hometown to investigate a murder.
Retired Commissioner Cevdet and his wife spend the last years of their lives in peace in small farmhouses far from the city. Until their little son came home at midnight with terrible news.
Tarık, who lost his brother and wife as a result of an accident, lost his mental balance and spends his days in a small coastal town with his father and mother. However, after Commissioner Yusuf arrives on vacation in this town, it will gradually become clear that things are not exactly like this, and the breakup of a family will be revealed.
It is not easy to find out who is innocent in Masum, which made a tremendous impression both with the story of each character and with the cinematographic filming of these stories on the screen.

The shooting of Masum series, which has a successful performance with its subject and cast, was made in Kocaeli. All the streets of Kocaeli, which is preferred because of its proximity to Istanbul and reminding of the provincial district, hosted the set of series. The calm and peaceful atmosphere of Kocaeli did not go unnoticed in the series where all shades of green and blue were exhibited.

Katip Arzuhalim folk song voiced by Selda Bağcan in Masum series was used as the generic music with the rearrangement of Okan Kaya.
