The news that Nobel Prize-winning Turkish writer Orhan Pamuk’s work, Masumiyet Müzesi, which created a big event when it was published, would be a TV series was put forward about four years ago. There has been no news about the series since then. A new development has been shared about the series in which Çağatay Ulusoy’s cast is mentioned.
Orhan Pamuk presented Masumiyet Müzesi to his readers in 2008. The book had a great impact when it was published with its ambitious subject. Orhan Pamuk even brought the book to life in a museum.
In 2020, it has been suggested that the novel Masumiyet Müzesi will be made into a series for Amazon. Allegedly, Çağatay Ulusoy would play the lead role in the series. It was stated that the series would be shot by OGM Pictures.
However, even after a year has passed, there has been no development regarding the series. This led to comments that the series was postponed or canceled. A new development was shared a few days ago.
Accordingly, Orhan Pamuk and his production company once again sat on the table for an agreement. The production company is trying to persuade Orhan Pamuk to shoot the novel into the series.
The theme of Masumiyet Müzesi is as follows:
“The story of Kemal, the rich boy from Istanbul and his distant and poor relative Füsun, which started on a spring day in 1975 and has survived until today: ‘Masumiyet Müzesi’ is your hand, with its speed, movement, richness of its events and heroes, sense of humor and its power to make you feel the storms in the depths of the human soul. It will be one of those books you can’t put down and read again. While reading Masumiyet Müzesi, you will find that all your thoughts, not only about love, but also about marriage, friendship, sexuality, passion, family and happiness, are deeply affected and you never want to leave the colorful world of the book.”
