Last year, Gürel came to the screen with the TV series Bay Yanlış, in which he shared the lead role with Can Yaman.
Despite Can Yaman and Özge Gürel, the romantic comedy series could not get a successful result in the ratings and made the final in the 14th episode. Bay Yanlış did not catch on in Turkey, but broke the record in Italy.
