The famous actress explained her feelings with the following words: “Rüçhan is one of the most enjoyable roles I have played. She is an easy-going character who is stuck in despair, indulges in alcohol and goes crazy. Even though there is a storm inside her, she says “I will handle this”, but she cannot handle anything because she has a very dominant mother-in-law in her mind. That tightness, that self-awareness, that ease was incredibly enjoyable and added a lot to me.
That’s why I always say about Rüçhan, “My dear, I hope you get out of that house safely.” When Dilek Taşı came to me, the first thing that struck me was that there was a reunion, there was being a father and a mother, and that it was set in the 1980s. And actually, everyone I looked at was right.”
