The Maraşlı series, which was broadcast on ATV and was decided to be final due to insufficient ratings in its 26th episode, conquered abroad. Maraşlı’s sales broke a record at the MIPCOM Fair, which has been going on for a while in Cannes, France and where TV series from all over the world were showcased.

The first episode of the Maraşlı series, starring Alina Boz and Burak Deniz, was broadcast in January. The character of Mahur, played by Alina Boz, and Celal, played by Burak Deniz, were loved by the audience.

The Maraşlı series attracted so much attention in Turkey that Alina Boz and Burak Deniz made their careers. However, the series made a final in the 26th episode on the grounds that it did not get good results in the ratings. The audience, who reacted very strongly to the end of the series, organized campaigns on social media, but it did not make any profit. The audience especially forced the production company TIMS&B Productions not to own their series.

As soon as the shooting of Maraşlı ended, Burak Deniz went to Rome to take a role in the TV series Cahil Periler, shot by Ferzan Özpetek for Disney. Burak Deniz will soon share the lead role with Serenay Sarıkaya in the TV series Şahmaran.
