Tövbeler Tövbesi is a Turkish-made drama and romantic comedy television series signed by Limon Yapım, directed by Aydın Bulut and Seben Delice, and written by Zülküf Yücel and Hürer Ebeoğlu.
The series, in which Tuba Ünsal, Cemal Toktaş, Fulya Zenginer and Keremcem took the leading roles, remained on the screen for a total of 37 episodes. With the series, young actors attracted great attention and became even more popular.

The series of Tövbeler Tövbesi, which tells the sad story of impossible loves and lovers who are angry with fate, is a project that revisits the cult movies and novels of a period, and emerged with the question, “What kind of TV series would Ertem Eğilmez write if he were alive today?” The series, which took its place among the most popular and unforgettable series in the years it was broadcast, made the final with its 37th episode.
STORY:
Garipler Neighborhood is a district inhabited by middle class Istanbulites who share similar problems. The waiter Mahir, who lives with his family in the neighborhood, breaks a bottle in the head of a customer at the nightclub where he works and is fired. By coincidence, she saves Pelin, who is about to jump off the cliff in her wedding dress. Moreover, Pelin is the daughter of her boss who fired him! Now Pelin is obsessively in love with Mahir. But Mahir is engaged to a girl named Fidan from his neighborhood.
Now Mahir has two options and a difficult question in front of him: will he marry Fidan, whom he loves and is engaged to, or will he choose the rich Pelin, whom fate has brought before him.

PLACES:
The shooting of the TV series Tövbeler Tövbesi was made in Istanbul. A neighborhood was established for the series. While the Kuleli and Paşabahçe Districts were painted as exterior facades, an average of 1000kg of paint was used for this process. A bazaar was built inside Kuleli Neighborhood, decorated with empty shops; new shops such as coffee shops and journalist shops were built. The houses of the character Mahir and the character of Fidan, namely the main places, were decorated in accordance with the scenario. Since the house where Mahir’s character lives is a historical monument, its natural texture has been restored. Both houses have been retrofitted. The electrical installations were changed, the garden arrangements were made from the beginning. About 30 workers were employed for all these works.
