One of Turkey’s most experienced actors, Haluk Bilginer is a well-known artist not only in Turkey but also abroad. Bilginer, who has taken part in many productions in Turkey and abroad, is preparing to come to the screen with a bomb-like project very soon.
The famous actor, who studied advanced theater at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts (LAMDA) after his education at the Ankara State Conservatory, has acted in many musicals, TV series and films abroad.
His first TV series experience in Turkey was Bergerac in 1985. Bilginer took part in only one episode in this series, and he got his first leading role in the TV series Safiyedir Kızın Adı, which was filmed in 1991. Haluk Bilginer, who has starred in successful TV series such as Gecenin Öteki Yüzü, Gülşen Abi, Tatlı Hayat, Karanlıkta Koşanlar, and Ezel, crowned his success in the international arena with the Şahsiyet series shot for Puhu TV in 2018.
Bilginer, who won many awards in the country, was deemed worthy of many awards, including the Best Actor award at the International Emmy Awards for his role as Agâh Beyoğlu in the TV series Şahsiyet. Bilginer played the character of Agâh Beyoğlu, who committed serial murders, in the movie directed by Onur Saylak.
