The actor, who is in the series with his Ankara character and has been in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus for a long time due to the shootings, continues to rest since the completion of the shootings in mid-December.
The actor, who received many project proposals, agreed to take part in the movie called first Göktürk, the project of Alper Çağlar, but had to withdraw from this project because it was revealed that the shooting would take 6 months and there was no planning yet.

Underlining that the rating has nothing to do with the actors, Serkan Çayoğlu said that it is a pity for some projects because of the rating. The actor said, “People prepare for the project for 3 months, 4 months. There’s a lot of effort. 100 people work in sets. Then, when the ratings don’t go well, things end and it gets sad. But there is nothing we can do,” he said.
Explaining that the shooting of the first Göktürk movie would have started within 3 weeks, but there was a problem that was not caused by him, Serkan Çayoğlu commented, “It doesn’t happen sometimes”. Although the actor did not clearly explain the reason, he confirmed that he left the cast of the movie first Göktürk due to planning problems.
Expressing that it is not a production that he especially wants to take a role in, the actor added that the script and the character he will portray are important for him.
