Sol Yanım (My Left Side) is a Turkish-made TV series by BKM Production, directed by Serdar Gözelekli and written by Melis Civelek. The series, broadcast on Star TV, is shot in various districts of Istanbul.
The series, in which Özge Yağız and Tolga Mendi met in the leading roles, came to the fore as a youth story. Emre Bey and Cemre Baysel series couple were also highly appreciated by the audience. OVERALL IMPRESSION:
Making a name for itself with its young cast, Sol Yanım series brings to the screen an immersive story full of secrets and intrigues that develop around the story of Serra and Selim in love with each other. It seems that Private North University, where the students of the young people in the series pass, will offer the audience fun and engaging stories about campus life.
STORY:
Selim, Biricik and Burak are lucky children who were born with a silver spoon in their mouths. Serra’s story is completely different for them, but coincidences lead him to a new beginning among these young people.
Serra, who was born in a wealthy family and raised like a princess, is in a middle class neighborhood but she has to live a life of her sick mother when she started the university. The fate that threw them on this side of life will now open doors for new beginnings with other coincidences.
Taking full responsibility for life at a young age, Serra works as a housekeeping member of a luxury hotel during her time from school, and at the same time, she is a striking student at Private North University with her kindness, intelligence and pure beauty. Coincidences drive Serra to a new beginning among rich young people. The Northern University campus will also host the love between Selim and Serra.

PLACES:
The Sol Yanım series is shot in BKM studios in Istanbul and in various districts of Istanbul. The shootings at Kutlusay Mansion are done in the neighborhoods close to the Bosphorus. North University, where university students are educated in the series, is located in Beşiktaş, Istanbul. The building in Cihannüma District, where Beşiktaş Cultural Center is also located, is actually a high school. The university scenes of the series are filmed in the high school, which was closed due to the online education process.
