Unfortunately, TRT1’s goal of telling the story of Barbaros Hayreddin Pasha and raising the pride of millions through it, spanning almost 3 years, unfortunately does not yield the desired results. preparations have begun.
A lot of money has been spent and great effort has been put into the TV series project that will take the audience to the 16th century, when TRT1 expects to leave its mark on the last years and the Mediterranean became a Turkish Lake. It was a very high budget trial, from the set crew to the cast, from the decor to the costumes and all the other details.
The Barbaroslar Mediterranean Sword series, which set out with two very ambitious names such as Engin Altan Düzyatan and Ulaş Tuna Astepe, as well as many important actors, could not reach the desired point last season. What TRT1 was looking for was the ratings that would mark the season and a project that would gather millions per screen. However, this did not happen on the first try.
Barbaros Hayreddin Sultanın Fermanı, on the other hand, started to meet the audience this season as the second attempt of the public broadcaster. Although two more episodes were aired, TRT1 was again disappointed in the ratings on Friday evenings.
We witness that the Barbaros Hayreddin project, in which Tolgahan Sayışman plays the leading role and whose concept, cast and decorations have been renewed, has not reached the desired point once again.
Maybe the series has just started and not enough time has been given. But the facts are different. Barbaros Hayreddin’s chances of making a great debut are almost non-existent in the Friday rivalry, where two TV shows such as Yalı Çapkını (Golden Boy) and Kızılcık Şerbeti (Cranberry Sherbet) are effective.
The results obtained in a project where such a great effort and money was spent for TRT1 together with Barbaros Hayreddin, which could not attract the viewers of the series, seems to have been quite educational to think about where the mistake was made.
