Cemre Baysel, who was the guest of the program presented by İbrahim Selim on Fox TV, spoke about the process as follows: “My second romantic comedy. I was worried. It was like this. We got some momentum in the first one. A very good energy emerged with Aytaç. I said if my next job is to be a romantic comedy, I can do it. I was worried, ‘Is it luck?’ After I got over this, I said, ‘I have accomplished something’. Our script is good, the director shot it well. The audience loved it. The more they loved, the more we hung on. We tried to go above and beyond the scenario. It is going very well.”
Cemre Baysel also gave a frank answer to the question about the belittlement of romantic comedy series. The young actress, who admitted that she did not think of taking part in romantic comedies before she started the series Baht Oyunu, said, “I said I wouldn’t do it. I didn’t think I could play comedy. I’ve always been in dramas until now: Comedy used to force me. I did it, it worked, and when it paid off, I liked it very much”.
The actress, who accepted to take part in the romantic comedy series for the second time because she received a good response from the audience, also stated that if the offer comes again, she will take part in such series again.
