The story of the Aziz series, the first episode of which will be broadcast on Friday, November 5, has very special details… Murat Yıldırım, Damla Sönmez, Simay Barlas, Fırat Tanış and Ahmet Mümtaz Taylan are in the lead roles in the series.
Making statements about the ongoing project in Antakya, the leading actor Murat Yıldırım made an important reminder. Explaining that the series is not just a drama or a love story, the actress stated that they will also talk about the process of Hatay’s accession to the Republic of Turkey.
Murat Yıldırım said: “This is my first term project. I’ve made movies before. It’s a different experience for me. Our art director friends were very tired rather than us. Same with our directors. The screenwriters did a lot of research for that period. It takes place in Hatay in the 1930s. You know, the last sentence of the Great Leader Mustafa Kemal Atatürk was always asking about Hatay when he was sick. That’s why we will tell about the salvation of Hatay. We will tell both a love story, a great family drama and the liberation of Hatay from the French colony.”
Murat Yıldırım, who took part in a period drama for the first time, had to take training for 1.5 months, despite his previous experience in horse riding. The actor, who had scenes where he rode a horse in the TV series Asi and Aşk ve Ceza, explained that he took lessons again because he forgot because of the time elapsed.
