A brand new situation has emerged for the Atatürk series, which was prepared by the Disney Plus platform but was announced to be shown in the movie format only by Fox TV in Turkey.
A few days ago, journalist Fatih Altaylı shared a rumor he received and announced that Netflix and Amazon Prime platforms were interested in the Atatürk series. There is a lot of news shared in the press that both platforms are making real efforts to deliver the series to their subscribers around the world.
Allegations that Disney Plus reversed its decision to show the Atatürk series worldwide as a result of pressure from the Armenian lobby caused a great reaction.
Following this situation, Fox TV’s announcement that it would broadcast the series in movie format did not calm the reactions.
After great criticism in Turkey, especially on social media, the Atatürk series suddenly became the first on the agenda.
Journalist Fatih Altaylı wrote an article stating that both Netflix and Amazon Prime Video platforms will broadcast the Atatürk series.
The shooting of the Atatürk series, in which 3 thousand stuntmen were used and tens of thousands of extras were included in the original locations in Turkey as well as Macedonia, lasted for months.
While Aras Bulut İynemli is in the leading role, Fatih Altaylı also stated in his article that the series cost 17.5 million dollars.
Broadcasting the Atatürk series all over the world via Netflix and Amazon Prime Video platforms will produce a much more effective result than meeting the audience on Disney Plus.
