Burcu Özberk, who has recently been on the agenda with the feature film Rüyanda Görürsün (You see in your dreams), also draws attention as one of the names that took part in the first domestic production of the Amazon Prime Video platform.
Burcu Özberk drew attention again by saying that she was expelled from the conservatory. The actress, who played the violin at the age of 12 and studied at the conservatory, said that she was expelled from school afterward.
Özberk said, “I studied at the conservatory for 1 year, I was 12 years old. Then I was expelled from school. Because in the first year at the conservatory, you will be expelled from school, if you do not pass the 70 threshold. It was very difficult for me too, I was a hipperactive child. At that age, I was saying, ‘I want to be a theater actor,'” she said.
Burcu Özberk, who said that her music career ended at a young age before she started, mentioned that she always had the motivation to play.
Burcu Özberk said that her sister’s family guided her in this way because she studied music at the Faculty of Fine Arts.
“But it’s something that really takes a lot of discipline. Playing an instrument, especially the violin. I’m 12 years old and it was very difficult to be stuck in a room for 2-3 hours and steal something. I decided I didn’t want it. I already got bad grades, then I got expelled.”
Burcu Özberk, who stated that she would like to have more skills while acting, said that both playing the violin and using her voice better will give her an advantage now.
The actress also expressed regret, saying, “I wish I had continued.”
