TRT1 has taken very important series decisions in recent years. Continuing the tradition of making big-budget Ottoman TV series, which started with Diriliş Ertuğrul, with Alparslan and Barbaroslar series, TRT1 also draws attention with works on different subjects that will rival private channels.
The Turkish Cypriot people’s struggle for the homeland is shown in the TV series, which started its second season with the name of Kıbrıs Zafere Doğru.
At the drama point, the point of the Masumlar Apartmanı series is very important. It was an important development that the series, which brought famous names together in the lead role, was quoted from a true story and that TRT1 brought a production with a high psychological depth to the screen.
On the other hand, the series Gönül Dağı brings the family and friendship bonds that they miss to the audience. The audience, who finds action in the Teşkilat series, is also proud with a little bit of propaganda by depicting the great efforts of the Turkish agents…
TRT1, which also progressed in different lanes with productions followed by less viewers such as the Seksenler, Dünya Hali, broke the monopoly of private channels in this way.
For TRT, we can say that the goal of bringing TV series viewers to the screen, which it has been doing for many years and mostly unsuccessfully, has been realized in recent years. Sina Koloğlu, one of the writers of Milliyet, also touched upon this issue in his article.

“TRT productions could not get into the contest for ratings for many years. The interest and relevance was high when the shootings with the ‘Ottoman TV series’ were decent.
