Disney Plus’s first Turkish TV series, Kaçış (Escape), which started its broadcast in Turkey on June 14 with great events, was. Shortly after the end of the Escape, the second Turkish production of the digital platform, Dünyayla Benim Aramda (Between the World and Me), will be published.
The Escape series, starring Engin Akyürek and İrem Helvacıoğlu, came to the screen with its first episode on June 14, when Disney Plus started broadcasting in Turkey. The fifth episode of the series, which is published every week, came to the screen. Three episodes remain from Escape, which consists of eight episodes.
Three weeks later, after the sharing of the new episodes of Escape is over, Demet Özdemir, Hafsanur Sancaktutan and Buğra Gülsoy will meet with the audience in Dünyayla Benim Aramda. The first episode of the series will begin airing in September.
The filming of Dünyayla Benim Aramda was carried out in great secrecy. The first images from the series were shown at a press conference a week before the opening of Disney Plus. The TV series Dünyayla Benim Aramda also comes to the fore with the changing image of the master actress Zerrin Tekindor.
Demet Özdemir, who played İlkin in the series whose first season will be shot in 10 episodes, said, “Dünyayla Benim Aramda, I really think it will be a genre that has not been made in Turkey until today! Not exactly romantic comedy, not exactly drama, not exactly intrigue! The audience will see and watch me as they have never seen me before. This has already been a great experience for me,” she added, adding to the excitement.
Carrying the title of being the second domestic series of Disney Plus’s Turkey broadcast, Dünyayla Benim Aramda is a series signed by MF Production. The director was Hülya Gezer, while the screenplay was written by Pınar Bulut. In the series, Demet Özdemir gives life to a magazine manager named İlkin. Buğra Gülsoy plays İlkin’s actor lover Tolga.
