Birce Akalay, who made a huge explosion on Netflix in June with the TV series kuş Uçuşu (Bird Flight) and Mezarlık (Cemetery), was appreciated by a wide audience. The famous actress did not accept the roles offered to her in the new season, considering the possibility of shooting the new seasons of these two series. She is also pleased with the positive signals that the new seasons of both Kuş Uçuşu and Mezarlık series will be shot.

Born in 1984 in Istanbul, Birce Akalay has been on the screen since 2007. The actress, who successfully portrayed different roles in both movies and TV series, appeared in front of the audience with the TV series Son Yaz (Last Summer) in 2021.
The actress, who joined the team with the character of Sare in the second season of the series, unfortunately took part in this project for only five episodes. Son Yaz, due to its low ratings, said goodbye to the screen at the beginning of its second season.
Birce Akalay, who excited her fans by expressing that she missed television series, made the following comment: “I missed the television audience, too. I’d be lying if I said I didn’t miss it. But of course, it is important to have the right project. The deadlines are long but there is nothing to do. As long as it doesn’t get better, as long as it continues like this, we continue to work somehow. This is our job.”
In a sense, the actress sent a message to the producers by saying that a suitable project should emerge for returning to television projects. Birce Akalay stated that if there is a good story and a role that will excite her, she can enter the intensity of television series again.
