Cem Yılmaz will appear in front of the audience on May 13 with the TV series Erşan Kuneri, which he prepared for Netflix. With this character, who is the producer of erotic films, different stories will be told and the series consisting of 8 episodes in total will surprise the audience.
Cem Yılmaz, who participated in Fatih Altaylı’s talk show with Nilperi Şahinkaya and Zafer Algöz, gave some information about the series here. While it was understood that the actors would play different characters in each episode, Cem Yılmaz completed the project in a period of 2 years.
Telling that he shared the first project with his friends and created some characters after receiving the contribution of everyone, Cem Yılmaz did not choose the cast randomly.
Zafer Algöz, who said that the series of Erşan Kuneri was very different and different from the works done in Turkey until today, said that he took part in each episode with different characters and that it was a good experience.
Cem Yılmaz put forward a scenario that also includes the messages of the 1970s Turkish cinema in the Erşan Kuneri series, which covers a period of 2 years from the beginning to the end. Cem Yılmaz, who is known to be in love with Turkish cinema and knows the story of almost every movie, is also experiencing the excitement of bringing a very special series to his fans with an effective cast.
Giving details about the series, Cem Yılmaz said: “It is an eight-episode series. It has movies and drama about what this group of friends went through. It’s actually a mixed format, but its general definition is array. We tried to create unique men with those anecdotes we heard about the cuisine of the business. Our female actresses Ezgi Mola, Nilperi Şahinkaya and Merve Dizdar are also very important names. They brought a lot of life into the business. That’s why I’m happy. We had a set in the mood of a fair.”
Cem Yılmaz explained that the actors in the Erşan Kuneri series, which were shot with special decorations, most of which were prepared last summer, were having difficulties due to a lot of make-up and costumes.
Erşan Kuneri series is also seen as a job that will push the boundaries of discipline. Cem Yılmaz, on the other hand, drew attention with his comments on this subject. The famous comedian said: “We get dark from a lot of things. A little vagrancy is something that is so missed… A little training is expected due to our age, but I think life needs a valve too.”
Nilperi Şahinkaya talked about how “He was a fatherly person on set” and explained how much Cem Yılmaz helped everyone.
Explaining her thoughts on the series, Şahinkaya said, “We worked together before, it’s a team I know, but now there is a champions league squad. I was very excited of course. The set was like a dream. We worked during the hours that everyone dreamed of. We were constantly going to the set as if we were going to stand-up. Not only Cem, but everyone else was funny,” she said.
