Family: He was born as the son of a tradesman known as ‘Clockmaker Selim’ in the Old Turkish Bazaar of Skopje. “My father was a tradesman in the Old Turkish Bazaar in Skopje. He is known as the watchmaker Selim. My mother devoted herself to raising my brother and me.
Childhood years: He became interested in music and sports from an early age. He started composing at the age of 13 by establishing his own studio. “When I was little, I was interested in both football and music, I would go out of guitar course and go to football training. However, when I had to make a choice, I preferred music. Music festivals and TV programs attended by children followed. At the age of 13, I had already set up my own studio and started composing.”
The turning point of his life: Meeting the screenwriter Gani Müjde changed the course of his life. “I actually tried acting in Macedonia, but I did not take an active role as much as here. Gani Müjde was the one who introduced me to the Turkish audience with his TV series ‘Pis Yedili’. Müjde reached me after watching the ‘Damla Damla’ clip, we got together and I got involved in the series. I acted together with master artists such as Talat Bulut and Vahide Perçin in “Göç Zamanı”. They’re all master actors and it was great to be on the same project as them.”
Music career: He released his first album in 2003. He released his first album in Albanian. Although he has Albanians in his family, he managed to sing in a language he did not know. He managed to gain fame in a short time by releasing two albums and more than one video clip in both Macedonia and Albania, and then he came to Turkey. He released a clip for the song ‘Damla Damla’ for the first time in Turkish and attracted attention with this clip. He composed for singers including Murat Dalkılıç, Demet Akalın and Gülben Ergen. “My first album was released in 2003, when I was 13 years old. Even though I lived in Macedonia, my album was in Albanian. There were Albanians in the family, but I didn’t know a word about this language. Isn’t it interesting to sing and feel the song in a language you don’t know how to speak? That’s what I call the power of music. I gained enough fame after two albums and many video clips in Macedonia and Albania, but the real boom came after I came to Turkey. Life is indeed full of surprises. Although I had been visiting Turkey often and I had a few Turkish songs, I never thought that I would settle here. First, we shot and published a clip for one of my Turkish songs, ‘Damla Damla’, and it was very popular. In the meantime, Tümay Özokur, the owner of the casting agency, watched my clip, was interested in me and I started working with her. After ‘Damla Damla’ was appreciated, my name started to be heard in the Turkish music market. I compose for famous artists. For example, Murat Dalkılıç’s popular song ‘Bir Hayli’ is my composition. The compositions of Demet Akalın’s ‘Pırlanta’ album ‘Gidenlerin Kalanları’ and Gülben Ergen’s ‘Bugünün Sevdalısı’ compositions also belong to me.”
The first step into acting: He started his television adventure in 2006 with the character of “Bertan”, which he portrayed in the TV series “Pis Yedili”.

Who he admires: He admires Talat Bulut, with whom he starred in the TV series “Göç Zamanı”. “We got along very well with Talat Bulut during the shooting of the series. I even composed a song for him.
