The turning point of her professional life? She sees the turning point of her career as the movie ‘Peri Masalı’. The movie “Peri Masalı” was both my first leading role and a project where I had to give up the hair I fell in love with. Normally, I am not a person who can make many radical decisions, and shaving my hair for the movie was the turning point of my life. My hair has always been up to my waist since I was 13-14 years old. Hair came to mind when the sign was mentioned. That’s why nobody believed it. Everyone thought it was photoshop. The cutting moment was also difficult. First of all, the Fairy character is a very happy girl. They wanted me to be happy with my hair cut. I cried! Our director talks to me and says “You can do it, we trust you”. The full set will begin, I start crying, we cut it. Then I said “I think I can’t do it, I’m sorry,” and got up. A 20-minute tea break was given. I stuck and tidied up on my own. I talked to my father right away. It gave me some comfort. I got on the set. I said, “Okay, I’m not Burcu anymore, I’m Fairy” and sat on the chair. We shot it in one plan and when I started to cry after it was over, the whole crew applauded me. Because they said among themselves, “Probably we will not be able to shoot this for three days.” After this movie, I think I have grown up, matured and became more feminine. ”
